The kids are finally here! We have two baby girls, Calico/Cali and Cammilla/Cammi. They are the cutest. They were already bouncing around the goat yard one day old, even though momma is really protective, they are still brave enough to come over and nibble us.
Yesterday we had to do a horrible thing called disbudding, which is cauterizing the horn bud so that it can't grow a horn,most goat owners do it to protect their goats from goring each other or getting their horns stuck in things and hanging themselves. It's the awful part of having goats.
